Now here's the main question, "What on earth is Soccness?!".
Well Soccness is truly AMAZING. It is a sport played with 4 players, 1 goalie. Now you might say, "How do you play it?". Well playing it is truly harder than it looks. Soccness is identicle to soccer except for the playing field, a few rules, and what you use to play with. Soccness is played with a tennis ball. Yep your goal is to get that small little ball into the net. Easy peesy, right? Wrong. It is extremly hard to manouver that little ball and get it to go to goal. And then there is goalkeeping, not a pretty site. See that ball is extremly hard to save. Although a few goalies, myself included, have got a feeling for it, and can actually keep that little thing out of the net. Now back to the fowards. They can do pretty much anything to get posetion of the ball. Trip. Tacle. Hit. No bitting, kicking, grabbing or extreme roughness. They have to remember that this sport is for fun, and that we are all friends here. That is sometimes hard to do. See we need money to fund the need of pads, so that players aren't injured. Please visit the Donations Page to help out.
Now anyone can play Soccness, boys and girls. It is a mixed sport, and as long as they want to take the chance, they are allowed. Usually during the year, there is at least 1 tournament, and many exbhitions are played.
Now in May 2006 it was started by the 6 founders, The Original 6. In October 2006, The Original 6 decided to let Soccness have a president. Brandon Waston was named the first president of Soccness. He resigned in 4-5 months. He was then replaced by Robbie Fournier. Robbie was elected President sometime before Easter 2007. He is still President now, and hopes to remain as President. He has a pretty good case, as he developped the first tournament. He also started and raised The Sock Fund.
The President of Soccness is voted on by the Original 6, only the Original 6. So as to speak only a member of the Original 6 may be President.
Well, that pretty much explains it, any other questions and just go to the page called "Questions"
Thanks!
