The Socky Tournament is yearly, right now there is few teams and the Tournament is usually fairly one-sided. Although this year it may be much larger.
Even if it is not, the Tournament is always fun, and all contestants enjoy themselves. Still there is always that competive feeling during the game, because most people would want to see his or her's name on the Cup.
The Cup that inspires all Soccness players is brought out to the final game, then later is engraved the team name, the year they won, and all the player's names.
During the Sockey Tournament 07, the winners of the Cup were the Billy Goats who defeated runner-up team, T.B.N.L. (The Bear Naked Ladies) , in 2 games, after the second T.B.N.L. surrendered to The Billy Goats. After interviews, we at the SoccnesStation found out that The Billy Goats found the Semi-final match more difficult than the others, they went into a shoot-out and thanks to Mr. Dustin Lavier, who plays forward on The Billy Goats, they managed to win the game and the series.
